Morticia ~ A Liquid Metal Ring ~ She dances in the shadows, prefers the moonlight on her cheeks, strums the Shamisen for the carnivorous plant she named Cleopatra, dusts her face with backing soda, and considers the profane sacred! Flora ~ A Liquid Metal Bracelet Flora, the Roman Goddess of flowers and the season of spring, was also one of the several fertility Goddesses.

Her festival, the Floralia, was held in April or early May and symbolized the renewal of the cycle of life, marked with dancing, drinking, and flowers.

Flora was married to Favonius the wind god, and her companion was Hercules. Due to her association with plants, her name in modern English also means plant life.

Magdalena`s Cross ~ Liquid Metal Necklace Magdalena was a merchant's daughter. She was the muse, the sounding board, and likely the lover of Jesus. She was a wise woman who shared her intuitive sense...her woman's' perspective with "The man".

Her cross is the longest of the Liquid Metal Cross collection. Composed of micro- chips, which are used in the circuit boards of computers, Sergio Gutierrez (Father of Liquid Metal Jewelry) embedded them onto a cross base, creating a beautiful, organic surface design. Magdalena has a long chain and a nice weight to her.

Marion Star of the Sea Marion is one of the most precious angels the earth has ever been graced with. This is her story.

"When I was little, I lived near the beach and spent a lot of time there. There was a place I called, "The Projection Place". As I approached it, there was a little road that went through the woods, then a clearing and then the beach appeared. I went there when I was troubled because when I was there, I could project myself into someplace else...across the sea.

Pandora, the first woman, also known as the "All Giving" Goddess was a version of Mother Earth, sustainer of life. By definition, Loden is a particular shade of green. It is named after a water resistant woolen fabric used in Bavaria for capes and jackets. It is not as murky as a forest green, but has more moss to it. It is my favorite green; rich, fragrant, and the one I like most reflected in my eyes. Why, you ask? Because it reminds me of the verdant force within me.

I Belong I was standing on a ladder, washing my window when he walked into Studio Nouveau.
His silver hair was pony-tailed back. He wore Ray Bans...inside the store! Of course one cannot help but wonder if the guy was practicing mystery...perhaps he had a hangover? About a half hour latter, he came out. I was already enchanted...and still am!

His eyes are a soft brown that
has seen a lot, and synthesized that lot into an arsenal of fabulous stories I apparently
have a deficit of.

We spoke of everything from hunting a boar with rifle vs. bow and arrow, to a paper he wrote as a youth on Spinster English, to the lack of bolo-ties in Texas. I even taught him the fine art of eating an exotic chocolate bar. He seemed to like that!

Now, I can't get his voice out of my head...nor John Denver's "I belong...in West Virginia..." Indeed, that is where this anomaly in these parts originated. And so I count the minutes when I will be blessed by another visit from James.

Made in Italy, of Antique brass, this horse clock is something you might see in West Virginia. With its stallion atop a mountain...surly in Appalachia, what a great way to hold the time.
