Sultana, Hand Flower Sultana, or 'Hand Flower' bracelets are a traditional adornment worn by Middle Eastern belly dancers.

Historically, belly dancing beckons to tribal birthing in the Middle East, where "...women walked in a circle, executing belly rolls and flutters with the mother alternately joining the circle or squatting." This tradition represents the "...mysterious conception of life, the suffering and the joy with which a new soul is brought into the world."

The kind of people who follow this unusual blend of tastes, time after time, back into our store, are often the artists, eccentric types, and epicurians. As they are popping a sample into their mouths they always say, "Oh it's not hot at all...oh wait a minute...now I'm beginning to feel a little heat in the back of my throat!" Czech Glass Lariate Our most versatile piece of jewelry, the Czech Glass Lariat, can be worn in about 15 different ways. These faceted Czech glass beads have a very 20's feel to us. Their glossy finish glints ever so subtly, catching the eye to behold the lovely turquoise color. Accented with a silver Bali lantern bead.
