Christina`s Cross ~ Liquid Metal Necklace Paul Ferrini once said,
"You don`t need me to bring you to the feet of the Divine. You are already there." We can find the answers to our prayers when we listen to our heart.

Christina`s Cross is composed of micro- chips, (pretty little elements used in the circuit boards of computers). Sergio Gutierrez, the Father of Liquid Metal studied Electronic Engineering, where he was surrounded by these elements. He began creating organic surface designs with them, which eventually lead to this his Micro chip collection. Christina`s Cross is one of those. She has a long chain and a nice weighted feel.

Cleopatra Queen ~ A Liquid Metal Necklace And what a Queen she was...
Charisma, wit, intelligence, and a dedicated understanding of perfumery and it�s effects on others, were some of the attributes Cleopatra relied upon.

In fact, it is said that Cleopatra was not a great beauty. Apparently, she didn�t need to be! What a lesson to us all, in this day and age of the image. Given the choice we all have, isn�t it an exciting challenge to make up where the Gods left off? Or perhaps the Gods were specific in their intentions, inciting us to inform ourselves with character and spiritual health.

Cleopatra was Greek. She came from a line of rulers called the Ptolemy, whose reign began at the fall of Alexander the Great. Cleopatra was not only the last of the Egyptian Pharaohs, she was the only one to take the time to learn the Egyptian language.
Early on, she co-ruled with her two brothers, both of whom she married.

Cleopatra won the heart of Julius Caesar, after escaping a near execution from one of those brothers, by presenting herself, rolled up in a fine Persian carpet at Caesar�s feet. Their love affair carried on until his murder.

Though she bore him a son, "Cesarion", the Roman climate did not allow him the throne, and the co-ruler ship fell to Caesar`s nephew, Octavion, and (much to Cleopatra`s delight) Mark Antony. Oh my what a delicious fellow he was!

By definition, Loden is a particular shade of green. It is named after a water resistant woolen fabric used in Bavaria for capes and jackets. It is not as murky as a forest green, but has more moss to it. It is my favorite green; rich, fragrant, and the one I like most reflected in my eyes. Why, you ask? Because it reminds me of the verdant force within me.
Emerald Waters is worn by those of us who feel poetry; for it is not the words themselves that are important, but how they make you feel when you are reading them.

We gave this beautiful name to one of our favorite Liquid Metal Chokers.

One of my favorite themes�light is wisdom. Light is understanding. Light is the absence of darkness. We are all made of light, as is everything around us. And if that doesn�t stir your imagination, try the idea that all of those electrons making up that light have consciousness. A lofty concept when you ponder it further! Lucretia`s Perfume ~ A Liquid Metal Choker Lucretia is an ancient perfumer and songwriter who lives on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

She wrote to a friend;

Synchronal tales resounded then, and echoed in my head...
`It`s beautiful, It`s beautiful, this life that we now lead...

Olivia ~ A Liquid Metal Necklace Once upon a time, I met a baby girl named Olivia who lived by the sea.

She grew to be a tall, slender and lovely young lady, whose beauty is centered in a calm sense of peace. In her dark skinned complexion, one can recognize Olivia�s Cherokee heritage, whose strong, interesting features compliment her assertive, forthright disposition; the perfect disposition for an avid storyteller, which Olivia is.
Her fascination with characters and the passion with which she expresses them is contagious. Although she has many interests, Olivia will likely become a great writer. She began her storytelling as a toddler, drawing out pictures of her inner-workings before she could even talk. It certainly doesn�t hurt that both her parents are highly skilled, professional artists, who encouraged and saw in her, great talent.

Olivia�s incredible brown hair is so long it became a legend. She wowed the boys at her first dance, when she unleashed it and let it fly. Someone even commented that it was unreal as it became part of her billowing cape. No one in these parts has ever seen such hair. It is so long, it nearly sweeps the ground!

Psyche ~ A Liquid Metal Choker "I live with him", she wrote...
"He is much like Tarzan in character, spending most of his time on the land, amidst the birds and elements. His hands are brown from toiling the earth. He runs like a mountain lion, with passion and purpose filling his lungs so fully, the wind heats them. He flies past my windows so that I catch only glimpses of his tall, tanned body. His beard is mountainous. His eyes are the trees. His labor is home.

When he feels my approach, Gabriel withdraws, crouching behind trees. I feel his presence, constantly, and intensely. A couple of years ago, I reached out to him, seeking to connect. I must have pushed too hard. Perhaps my curiosity broke his trust, I do not know. My mountain man slid back into reclusive shadows. At first I felt offended by his behavior, and then something came to me:

In our last life together, I did something (which I don�t now remember) to upset him so terribly, that he vowed silence for not only that life, but for the next one. Unfortunately, he is very stubborn and willful, and has stood by that vow. What he didn�t remember was that we are soul mates. Being such, he cannot control what happens in our dream time...which is where we now meet. More often than any other entity and quite often, Gabriel meets me in that dream world dimension. He�d forgotten what I mean to him when he made that vow, you see. He holds me sometimes... as he if he will never let me go. He reminds me that I am his life. And he says such things with a look. So much of our communication is gestural and telepathic. It is instinctual, and feels skin close to Mother earth, and so right; so correct...that I would forfeit, if I was able, speech...just to be with him.

Though I am whole, he is the missing part of me. It is his polar energy which fills me...and so quenches my psyche. And as I am telling this tale, I have just stumbled upon the story of a beautiful princess loved and visited by Cupid at night, who tells her she must not try to see him. She is Psyche, the personification of the soul!"

Serpent`s Dream ~ Liquid Metal Snake Necklace Shakespeare`s Romeo and Juliet is derived from the story of Cleopatra and Marc Antony.

After being defeated at the Battle of Actium on September 2, 31 BC, by Augustus Caesar (Also known as Octavius) and his formidable general, Marcus Agrippa, Cleopatra and Marc Antony fled to their home in Alexandria, the heart and soul of Cleopatra`s vast and wealthy empire. It took some months before Octavius came for them. Several small battles were fought in the interim. Finally, as his army pressed upon them, Marc Antony tried and failed in one last battle. He heard news that Cleopatra was dead. Some say he heard that she was making arrangements to join Octavius. He fell upon his sword...the Roman` version of dying with courage. He was brought to Cleopatra`s tomb, where she lay sealed, in waiting with all of Egypt`s treasure. Her plan was to burn it to the ground if Octavius refused her son the right to rule Egypt.

Marc Antony was brought to her, bleeding to death. She had him hoisted through a window in the upper reaches of the tomb. He died in her arms. As she suffered the anguish of his loss, one of Octavius` soldiers was lifted through that same window. He captured her...dagger in hand. Within the next couple of weeks, Cleopatra conceded to join Octavius in Rome, provided that he allow her to properly bury Marc Antony in her tomb. She began an elaborate funeral ritual...with prayer, food and treasure offerings to accompany him in the afterlife. Amongst those goodies was a seemingly innocent basket of figs. Unbeknown to Octavius` soldiers, two Asps had been smuggled inside that fig basket and awaited their particular moment in history. The Asp is a small snake from the Cobra family. It is said that Cleopatra tested the venom of many poisons and poisonous snakes to see which caused the least pain. The victim of an asp bite becomes sleepy and euphoric, as they quietly pass into the underworld. Much to Octavius` dismay, two marks were discovered on the arm of a dead Cleopatra; the most exquisite of queens.

Cleopatra`s patron goddess was Isis and thus during and for hundreds of years after her reign it was believed that she was the re-incarnation and embodiment of the goddess of wisdom. Cult tombs were found throughout Egypt and abroad, in honor of Cleopatra.
Cleopatra`s life is one of the most romantic stories ever told. Besides being the lover and wife of the two most powerful men in the world`s history, she nurtured a country from its knees to become the wealthiest of its time. A great lover of education, Cleopatra`s Alexandria was the world`s intellectual epicenter. Most people don`t realize that Cleopatra had not a drop of Egyptian blood, but was of Greek/Macedonian decent. In addition to her native Greek tongue, she spoke 8 languages, wrote numerous books ranging from perfumery to medical treaties. She was an astute politician, businesswoman and I would imagine a ravishing lover.

To attain the right size, remember there is a 1/2" overlap at the snap. So a 7" bracelet is actually a 6-1/2" bracelet. Remember too, to allow an additional 1-2" for movement. These should have slinky feel.
