Magdalena`s Cross ~ Liquid Metal Necklace Magdalena was a merchant's daughter. She was the muse, the sounding board, and likely the lover of Jesus. She was a wise woman who shared her intuitive sense...her woman's' perspective with "The man".

Her cross is the longest of the Liquid Metal Cross collection. Composed of micro- chips, which are used in the circuit boards of computers, Sergio Gutierrez (Father of Liquid Metal Jewelry) embedded them onto a cross base, creating a beautiful, organic surface design. The kind of people who follow this unusual blend of tastes, time after time, back into our store, are often the artists, eccentric types, and epicurians. As they are popping a sample into their mouths they always say, "Oh it's not hot at all...oh wait a minute...now I'm beginning to feel a little heat in the back of my throat!" Sultana, Hand Flower Sultana, or 'Hand Flower' bracelets are a traditional adornment worn by Middle Eastern belly dancers.

Historically, belly dancing beckons to tribal birthing in the Middle East, where "...women walked in a circle, executing belly rolls and flutters with the mother alternately joining the circle or squatting." This tradition represents the "...mysterious conception of life, the suffering and the joy with which a new soul is brought into the world."

Also known as 'Slave Bracelets', these bracelet/ring combined were/are common adornment in harems and amongst sensuous entertainers.

Olivia ~ A Liquid Metal Necklace Once upon a time, I met a baby girl named Olivia who lived by the sea.

She grew to be a tall, slender and lovely young lady, whose beauty is centered in a calm sense of peace. In her dark skinned complexion, one can recognize Olivia’s Cherokee heritage, whose strong, interesting features compliment her assertive, forthright disposition; the perfect disposition for an avid storyteller, which Olivia is.
Her fascination with characters and the passion with which she expresses them is contagious. Although she has many interests, Olivia will likely become a great writer. She began her storytelling as a toddler, drawing out pictures of her inner-workings before she could even talk. It certainly doesn’t hurt that both her parents are highly skilled, professional artists, who encouraged and saw in her, great talent.

Olivia’s incredible brown hair is so long it became a legend. She wowed the boys at her first dance, when she unleashed it and let it fly. Someone even commented that it was unreal as it became part of her billowing cape. No one in these parts has ever seen such hair. It is so long, it nearly sweeps the ground!
